Step 3: Choose from the 'Internet' or 'Messaging' plan and make the payment. Note that accessing the Korean Air website and app doesn't require purchasing a Wi-Fi plan.
Korean Air's Wi-Fi service is available once the aircraft reaches an altitude of over 10,000 feet.
Please be aware that Wi-Fi usage may be restricted in certain airspace regions where the service is prohibited, including Syria, Israel, Cuba, India, and polar routes.
Keep in mind that the service may experience temporary interruptions due to unexpected factors like adverse weather conditions or satellite communication interference.
Internet Plan: With the Internet plan, you can surf the web, send emails, and stream music and videos at a quality of up to 480p.
Messaging Plan: The Messaging plan enables you to use text messaging services on chat apps like KakaoTalk, Line, and WhatsApp. Please note that this plan does not support sending videos or photos.
Plan Flexibility: Plan types and their prices are subject to change based on the distance of the flight, whether it's a long, medium, or short haul.
Payment Options: All fees are charged in USD currency and can be conveniently paid using credit cards or debit cards that are authorized for use overseas.
Connecting Flights: It's important to note that Korean Air Wi-Fi service is available for flights that have been individually purchased, and the service must be purchased separately for any connecting flights.
